About Barbara K. Sweet

Barbara 'Bobbie' K. Sweet is Vice Chairman of the 124-year-old family manufacturing business, Intermatic Incorporated. She is a Trustee and former Chair of the Island Institute and a Trustee of the New Hampshire Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. She is a former Director of the Ocean Conservancy. Bobbie is presently a member of the Chairman's Circle of the Ocean Conservancy, the National Council of the Trust for Historic Preservation, and the National Council of Strawbery Banke. She has been a Fellow of the National Tropical Botanical Garden for 25 years and presently serves as Co-Chair of the Garden Planning Committee and as a Member of the Board of the Breadfruit Institute. She has cruised the Coast of Maine with her husband, Cyrus, for 51 years.
